Bucha Bug Kombucha Brand Development
Bucha Bug is a vibrant, new kombucha brand aimed at delivering a refreshing, natural beverage with a lively personality. Our project team worked collaboratively to bring this brand to life, focusing on developing a distinctive identity that resonates with health-conscious, eco-friendly, and adventurous consumers.
Bucha Bug seeks to connect with a young, dynamic audience interested in wellness and mindful choices. With a playful name, we designed the brand to reflect energy, fun, and authenticity, with bold visuals and a lighthearted approach to a traditionally health-focused beverage.
Role and Contributions
In my role as the primary designer for the project, I was responsible for:
Packaging Design: Crafted the packaging to align with *Bucha Bug*’s youthful and eco-conscious image. This included bottle labels, cartons, and other touchpoints, focusing on bold colors and playful, organic shapes that mirror kombucha’s natural essence.
Mockups: Developed realistic mockups that showcased the product in various retail environments, creating a strong visual presence and helping the team envision the brand’s impact.
Web Page Design: Designed a user-friendly, visually engaging web interface representing Bucha Bug online. The site features intuitive navigation, a fresh and colorful layout, and interactive elements that engage users with the brand story, flavors, and health benefits.
Logo and Brand Identity: Collaborated with the team in the initial stages of logo creation, setting the foundation for a look that’s both memorable and reflective of kombucha culture. I also curated the color palette, selecting tones that evoke natural ingredients and an energetic, earthy vibe that resonates across packaging, digital, and print materials.

The result is a cohesive and engaging brand identity that positions Bucha Bug as a standout in the kombucha market, ready to appeal to health-conscious consumers who value quality and aesthetics.
